Throughout the history, ram was one of the most featured prominently long held symbol in old cultures.It represents the meaning of power, energy, protection, fearlessness. Leaders of old societies wore helmets with ram horns, to derive the strength of their leadership and determination. The ram is also is the symbol of Aires, which is the first sign of the Zodiac.
Looking back into mythology will reveal the association of rams with gods and deities. Many cultures used it as their power enforcer. Amun-Ra of ancient Egypt, Celtic god of Cernunnos, Zeus & Apollo in Greek civilianization, Angi, and Indra of Inda, Baal of middle east and Hermes of Roman empire.
This mandala mixes the beauty of decorative floral art and power of charismatic ancient gods. Flourished with colorful and striking arrangement of ornamental shapes and elements all around the eight rams heads.
There are two versions of the art, one in light color plain background for brighter display showcasing the smooth side of the piece, and the other with black dark background for more dramatic, mystic art lovers.
