This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
After two decades, she returned to her hometown the place where she grew up as a kid.
Everything was looking sad and gloomy, the land was frozen, the sun was pale, the places were abandoned.
She walked through the village street and took a pose front of the tree where she used to hang out with her boyfriend, and found the two engraved hearts still visible as a scar on the old bare tree trunk..and her memory was swiped away by all the good thoughts and time she used to spent with her love, but unfortunately he was not here anymore...
People go, places changes, but the memory stays alive!

What a fantastic piece that tells a story! The chill of winter can be felt in the cool hues of blues and purples of the cloudy sky. The day is cold and the wind is blustery for she has her hands deep in the pockets of her long warm coat and her scarf and hair can be seen blowing with the strong wind. Although this winter day is cold and gloomy she wears a slight smile as she gazes at the barren tree. I can see that her thoughts turn to remembering happy times for her gaze is on the two carved hearts on the trunk of the tree. The memory is a bittersweet one for she stands there alone.

Very nice work; it's a common human story that ties us emotionally, everything changes, everything moves on, just the memories remain, even that fades gradually...
